2nd Edition of Ludhiana Half Marathon (LHM) will be much bigger and exciting. We are committed to taking the theme: ‘STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN’ in the 2nd year and would like once again runners of all age groups to come together for this cause.

Throughout the event promotion, unless specified differently, the term “WOMEN” refers to Females of all ages,

including girls.

Violence against women manifests itself as physical, sexual, emotional and economic.

In India, 8,233 cases of dowry-related death were reported in 2012; an unknown number of murders of women and young girls were falsely labelled ‘suicides’ or ‘accidents’.

Gender inequality and discrimination are root causes of violence against women.

Through this event, we want to encourage both Men and Women to come together and run for this cause which has SERIOUS implications on the progressive orientation of our society.

Ludhiana is well connected through Rail and Road network and we expect Runners from across the nation to participate in Ludhiana Half Marathon 2018.
